And the man was enriched exceedingly: and he had many flocks, maid-servants and men-servants, camels and asses.


So the presents went before him; but himself lodged that night in the camp.


And Jacob said: Do not so I beseech thee, but if I have found favor in thy eyes, receive a little present at my hands: for I have seen thy face, as if I should have seen the countenance of God: be gracious to me,


And said: Let us go on together, and I will accompany thee in thy journey.


But he said: I have plenty, my brother; keep what is thine for thyself.


But they pressed him, till he consented, and said: Send. And they sent fifty men: and they sought three days but found him not.


And Naaman said: It is better that thou take two talents. And he forced him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, and two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants and they carried them before him.


And the Lord said to the servant: Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.


As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as needy, yet enriching many; as having nothing, and possessing all things.


But I have all, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things you sent, an odour of sweetness, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.


For bodily exercise is profitable to little: but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
