And I will restore thy judges as they were before and thy counsellors as of old. After this thou shalt be called the city of the just, a faithful city.


As he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets, who are from the beginning:


Who also said: Ye men of Galilee, why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as you have seen him going into heaven.


To him all the prophets give testimony, that by his name all receive remission of sins, who believe in him.


Be penitent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.


That when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, and he shall send him who hath been preached unto you, Jesus Christ,


Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.


God, who, at sundry times and in divers manners, spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all,


For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.


That you may be mindful of those words which I told you before from the holy prophets, and of your apostles, of the precepts of the Lord and Saviour.


Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath judged your judgment on her.


And he said to me: These words are most faithful and true. And the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to shew his servants the things which must be done shortly.
