The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, “Look, a glutton and a drunkard,   a friend of tax collectors and sinners! ”   Yet wisdom is vindicated   by her deeds.’


Absolutely not!  How can we who died to sin  still live in it?


Now if we died with Christ,  we believe that we will also live with him,


For example, a married woman is legally bound to her husband while he lives.  But if her husband dies, she is released from the law regarding the husband.


Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death  in relation to the law  through the body of Christ  so that you may belong to another. You belong to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.


Therefore, there is now no condemnation  for those in  Christ Jesus,  ,


Therefore, since Christ suffered  in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same understanding   #– #because the one who suffers in the flesh is finished  with sin   #– #
