While Israel was living in that region, Reuben went in and slept with his father’s concubine Bilhah, and Israel heard about it. Jacob had twelve sons:


Leah’s sons were Reuben (Jacob’s firstborn), Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.


Judah, your brothers will praise you. Your hand will be on the necks of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you.


These are the names of the men who are to assist you: Elizur son of Shedeur from Reuben;


Nahshon son of Amminadab from Judah;


Nethanel son of Zuar  was over the division of the tribe of Issachar’s descendants,


‘When you sound short blasts, the camps pitched on the east  are to set out.


The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab  from the tribe of Judah.
