Then he told them many things in parables,  saying, ‘Consider the sower who went out to sow.


Other seed fell on rocky ground where it didn’t have much soil, and it grew up quickly since the soil wasn’t deep.


As he sowed, some seed fell along the path,   and the birds came and devoured   it.


As  he approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.


‘A sower went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some seed fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
