‘See to it that you don’t despise one of these little ones,   because I tell you that in heaven their angels   continually view the face of my Father in heaven.   ,


just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,   and to give his life as a ransom for many.’


But I tell you, don’t resist   an evildoer. On the contrary, if anyone slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.


For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.’


But Jesus responded, ‘No more of this! ’ And touching his ear, he healed him.


Then Jesus said, “Father,   forgive   them, because they do not know what they are doing.”   , And they divided his clothes and cast lots.


But he turned and rebuked them,


As they were travelling on the road someone said to him,  ‘I will follow you wherever you go.’


A thief comes only to steal   and kill and destroy.   I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.


If anyone hears my words and doesn’t keep   them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world   but to save the world.


For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn   the world, but to save the world through him.


Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.


This saying is trustworthy  and deserving of full acceptance: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world  to save sinners’   #– #and I am the worst of them.
