Does he thank that servant because he did what was commanded?
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
Is he grateful and does he praise the servant because he did what he was ordered to do?
Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded?
You won’t thank the servant because the servant did what you asked, will you?
Would he be grateful to that servant, for doing what he commanded him to do?
Doth he thank that servant, for doing the things which he commanded him?
In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, “We are unworthy servants; we’ve only done our duty.” ’
Instead, will he not tell him, “Prepare something for me to eat, get ready, and serve me while I eat and drink; later you can eat and drink”?
