While travelling to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

As He went on His way to Jerusalem, it occurred that [Jesus] was passing [along the border] between Samaria and Galilee.
