Naaman,  commander of the army for the king of Aram, was a man important to his master and highly regarded  because through him, the Lord had given victory to Aram. The man was a valiant warrior, but he had a skin disease.


And what more can I say? Time is too short for me to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah,  David, Samuel, and the prophets,


The rulers  of Gilead said to one another, ‘Which man will begin the fight against the Ammonites? He will be the leader of all the inhabitants of Gilead.’


Gilead’s wife bore him sons, and when they grew up, they drove Jephthah out and said to him, ‘You will have no inheritance in our father’s family, because you are the son of another woman.’


Then the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘The Lord is with you, valiant warrior.’


So the Lord sent Jerubbaal,  Barak,  , Jephthah,  and Samuel.  He rescued you from the power of the enemies around you, and you lived securely.
