But while they still were amazed and in disbelief because of their joy, he asked them, ‘Do you have anything here to eat? ’


So Simon Peter climbed up and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish #– #153 of them. Even though there were so many, the net was not torn.


Jesus came, took the bread, and gave it to them. He did the same with the fish.


When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish lying on it, and bread.


Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks he distributed them to those who were seated #– #so also with the fish, as much as they wanted.


‘There’s a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish #– #but what are they for so many? ’
