Whether they listen or refuse to listen   #– #for they are a rebellious house #– #they will know that a prophet has been among them.


that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know. He will cut him to pieces   and assign him a place with the unfaithful.


The one who rejects me   and doesn’t receive my sayings has this as his judge:   The word I have spoken will judge him on the last day.


The one who hates me also hates my Father.


If I had not done the works   among them that no one else has done,   they would not be guilty of sin.   Now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.


About sin, because they do not believe in me;


‘You would have no authority over me at all,’ Jesus answered him, ‘if it hadn’t been given to you from above. This is why the one who handed me over to you has the greater sin.’


‘If you were blind,’ Jesus told them, ‘you wouldn’t have sin.   But now that you say, “We see,” your sin remains.


‘Therefore, having overlooked  the times of ignorance, God now commands all people everywhere to repent,


For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world,  being understood through what he has made.  As a result, people are without excuse.


Therefore, every one of you  , who judges is without excuse.  For when you judge another,  you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things.


So it is sin to know the good and yet not do it.


Submit as free people, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil,  but as God’s slaves.
