Then call, and I will answer, or I will speak, and you can respond to me.


If I smiled at them, they couldn’t believe it; they were thrilled at   the light of my countenance.


Even if I were in the right, I could not answer. I could only beg my Judge for mercy.


He batters me with a whirlwind and multiplies my wounds without cause.


Moses told this to the Israelites, but they did not listen  to him because of their broken spirit and hard labour.


But while they still were amazed and in disbelief because of their joy, he asked them, ‘Do you have anything here to eat? ’
