Smoke billows from his nostrils as from a boiling pot or burning reeds.


Strength resides in his neck, and dismay dances before him.


Indeed! Topheth has been ready for the king for a long time. Its funeral pyre is deep and wide, with plenty of fire and wood. The breath of the Lord,  like a torrent of burning sulphur, kindles it.


The grass withers, the flowers fade when the breath  of the  Lord blows on them; indeed, the people are grass.


Plague goes before him, and pestilence follows in his steps.
