How you have counselled the unwise and abundantly provided insight!
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? And how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
How you have counseled him who has no wisdom! And how plentifully you have declared to him sound knowledge!
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom, And plentifully declared sound knowledge!
advised one lacking wisdom, informed many with insight!
To whom have you given advice? Perhaps it is to him that has no wisdom or prudence that you have revealed your many ideas.
To whom hast thou given counsel? Perhaps to him that hath no wisdom; and thou hast shewn thy very great prudence.
No doubt you are the people, and wisdom will die with you!
But I also have a mind like you; I am not inferior to you. Who doesn’t know the things you are talking about? ,
If only you would shut up and let that be your wisdom!
But come back and try again, all of you. I will not find a wise man among you.
How you have helped the powerless and delivered the arm that is weak!
With whom did you speak these words? Whose breath came out of your mouth?
My words come from my upright heart, and my lips speak with sincerity what they know.
If not, then listen to me; be quiet, and I will teach you wisdom.
Who is this who obscures my counsel with ignorant words?
Since I cannot help myself, the hope for success has been banished from me.
You know that I did not hesitate to proclaim anything to you that was profitable and to teach you publicly and from house to house.
because I did not avoid declaring to you the whole plan of God.
