Then the water surged even higher on the earth, and all the high mountains under the whole sky were covered.
They were snatched away before their time, and their foundations were washed away by a river.
The water came back and covered the chariots and horsemen, as well as the entire army of Pharaoh that had gone after them into the sea. Not even one of them survived.
