Now a man from the family of Levi married a Levite woman.
And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.

The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram: Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.
