But Judah said to him, ‘The man specifically warned us, “You will not see me again unless your brother is with you.”
For I strongly warned your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt until today, warning them time and time again, , “Obey me.”
except that in every town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions are waiting for me.
As it is written: Because of you we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. ,
Indeed, this is our boast: The testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially towards you, with godly sincerity and purity, not by human wisdom but by God’s grace.
Are they servants of Christ? I’m talking like a madman #– #I’m a better one: with far more labours, many more imprisonments, far worse beatings, many times near death.
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place.
For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, boast in Christ Jesus, and do not put confidence in the flesh #– #
For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?
How can we thank God for you in return for all the joy we experience before our God because of you,
Listen to them, but solemnly warn them and tell them about the customary rights of the king who will reign over them.’
