the land of Egypt is open before you; settle your father and brothers in the best part of the land.  They can live in the land of Goshen. If you know of any capable men among them, put them in charge of my livestock.’


Shitrai the Sharonite was in charge of the herds that grazed in Sharon,  while Shaphat son of Adlai was in charge of the herds in the valleys.


Jaziz the Hagrite  was in charge of the flocks. All these were officials in charge of King David’s property.


Next to them the repairs were done by Melatiah the Gibeonite, Jadon the Meronothite, and the men of Gibeon  and Mizpah, who were under the authority  , of the governor  of the region west of the River Euphrates.


His estate included seven thousand sheep and goats, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys,  and a very large number of servants. Job was the greatest man among all the people of the east.
