For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens.


Ascribe to the  Lord, families of the peoples, ascribe to the  Lord glory and strength.


Then he said to them, ‘Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared,  since today  is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the Lord is your strength.’  ,


From what seemed to be his waist up, I saw a gleam like amber, with what looked like fire enclosing it all round.  From what seemed to be his waist down, I also saw what looked like fire. There was a brilliant light all around him.


‘Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,   so that they will see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the world’s foundation.
