When the people came to where the Lord's temple had been in Jerusalem, some of the family leaders gave gifts so it could be rebuilt in the same place.


Tell everyone in Israel who wants to give gifts that they must bring them to you.


They will bring your relatives from the nations as an offering to me, the Lord. They will come to Jerusalem, my holy mountain, on horses, chariots, wagons, mules, and camels. It will be like the people of Israel bringing the right offering to my temple.


And so I will crush you, just as a wagon full of grain crushes the ground.
