When the Lord rescued his chosen people from Egypt, they celebrated with songs.


God struck down the first-born in every Egyptian family. God's love never fails.


The Israelites walked from the city of Rameses to the city of Succoth. There were about 600,000 of them, not counting women and children.


And on that same day the Lord brought Israel's families and tribes out of Egypt.


Now go to the king! I am sending you to lead my people out of his country.


and so they told the king of Egypt to set the people of Israel free.
