And king David spoke to the entire assembly: "My son Solomon, the one God has chosen, is still a tender boy. And yet the work is great, for a habitation is being prepared, not for man, but for God.


Many calves have surrounded me; fat bulls have besieged me.


The just one will rejoice when he sees vindication. He will wash his hands in the blood of the sinner.


God has spoken in his holy place: I will rejoice, and I will divide Shechem, and I will measure the steep valley of the tabernacles.


Words of iniquity have prevailed over us. And you will pardon our impieties.


How have they been brought to desolation? They have suddenly failed. They have perished because of their iniquity.


Unto the end. For the oil and wine presses. A Psalm of David.


He who makes promises is also jabbed, as if with a sword, in conscience. But the tongue of the wise is reasonable.


There is a generation which has swords in place of teeth, and which commands their molars to devour the indigent from the earth and the poor from among men.


And you will say in that day: "Confess the Lord, and invoke his name! Make his plans known among the peoples! Remember that his name is exalted!


The lofty eyes of man have been humbled, and the haughtiness of men will be bowed down. Then the Lord alone shall be exalted, in that day.


And the loftiness of men will be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men will be brought low. And the Lord alone shall be exalted, in that day.


And now, O Lord our God, save us from his hand. And let all the kingdoms of the earth acknowledge that you alone are Lord."


And they were crying out to one another, and saying: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts! All the earth is filled with his glory!"


For the earth shall be filled, that they might know the glory of the Lord, like the waters spreading over the sea.


God will come from the south, and the Holy One from mount Pharan. His glory has covered the heavens, and the earth is full of his praise.


Also, as I live, the entire world shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.
