And immediately, Jesus spoke to them, saying: "Have faith. It is I. Do not be afraid."


And he said, "Come." And Peter, descending from the boat, walked over the water, so as to go to Jesus.


Then Peter responded by saying to him: "Behold, we have left behind all things, and we have followed you. So then, what will be for us?"


But he spoke further, "Even if I must die along with you, I will not deny you." And they all spoke similarly also.


Therefore, Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?"


For I say, through the grace that has been given to me, to all who are among you: Taste no more than it is necessary to taste, but taste unto sobriety and just as God has distributed a share of the faith to each one.


But he should ask with faith, doubting nothing. For he who doubts is like a wave on the ocean, which is moved about by the wind and carried away;
