For this reason, that place was called Beersheba, because there both of them did swear.

And he said to his servants: "Wait here with the donkey. I and the boy will hurry further ahead to that place. After we have worshipped, will return to you."


Then he ascended from that place into Beersheba,


and Hazar-shual and Beersheba and Biziothiah,


And so all the sons of Israel went out like one man, from Dan to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, and they gathered together, before the Lord, at Mizpah.


Now the name of his firstborn son was Joel, and the name of the second was Abijah: judges at Beersheba.
