{\b For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab My soul waiteth in silence for God only:\par\tab From him {\i cometh} my salvation.
Moreover David and the captains of the host set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of them that did the work according to their service was:
Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Jehovah.
Behold, as the eyes of servants {\i look} unto the hand of their master,\par\tab As the eyes of a maid unto the hand of her mistress;\par\tab So our eyes {\i look} unto Jehovah our God,\par\tab Until he have mercy upon us.
Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him:\par\tab Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,\par\tab Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
{\b For the Chief Musician, for Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab I said, I will take heed to my ways,\par\tab That I sin not with my tongue:\par\tab I will keep my mouth with a bridle,\par\tab While the wicked is before me.
{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm. A Song of David.}\par\par\tab Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion;\par\tab And unto thee shall the vow be performed.
{\b For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph.}\par\par\tab I will cry unto God with my voice,\par\tab Even unto God with my voice; and he will give ear unto me.
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, {\i even} Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.
And therefore will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you; and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for Jehovah is a God of justice; blessed are all they that wait for him.
but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.\par
Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.
