Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy,\par\tab Now will I arise, saith Jehovah;\par\tab I will set him in the safety he panteth for.


And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies,\par\tab And destroy all them that afflict my soul;\par\tab For I am thy servant.


Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies:\par\tab I flee unto thee to hide me.


He rescueth me from mine enemies;\par\tab Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me;\par\tab Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
