All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship:\par\tab All they that go down to the dust shall bow before him,\par\tab Even he that cannot keep his soul alive.


What man is he that shall live and not see death,\par\tab That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? {\i Selah


Treasures of wickedness profit nothing;\par\tab But righteousness delivereth from death.


Riches profit not in the day of wrath;\par\tab But righteousness delivereth from death.


There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in war: neither shall wickedness deliver him that is given to it.\par


Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
