And, behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against Jehovah, the God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.\par


Why do the nations rage,\par\tab And the peoples meditate a vain thing?


Jehovah of hosts is with us;\par\tab The God of Jacob is our refuge. {\i Selah\par


Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed,\par\tab A high tower in times of trouble;


Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.


Only rebel not against Jehovah, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is removed from over them, and Jehovah is with us: fear them not.
