{\i Touching} the Almighty, we cannot find him out:\par\tab He is excellent in power;\par\tab And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict.


How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God!\par\tab How great is the sum of them!


Keep me as the apple of the eye;\par\tab Hide me under the shadow of thy wings,


Oh how great is thy goodness,\par\tab Which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee,\par\tab Which thou hast wrought for them that take refuge in thee,\par\tab Before the sons of men!

Michtam; when he fled from Saul, in the cave.}\par\par\tab Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me;\par\tab For my soul taketh refuge in thee:\par\tab Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge,\par\tab Until {\i these} calamities be overpast.

Jehovah recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of Jehovah, the God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to take refuge.
