O my soul, come not thou into their council; Unto their assembly, my glory, be not thou united; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will they hocked an ox.

as the days wherein the Jews had rest from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to gladness, and from mourning into a good day; that they should make them days of feasting and gladness, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.


I will sing unto Jehovah,\par\tab Because he hath dealt bountifully with me.\par


Every day will I bless thee;\par\tab And I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
