For he knoweth our frame;\par\tab He remembereth that we are dust.


He will not always chide;\par\tab Neither will he keep {\i his anger} for ever.


He hath put forth his hands against such as were at peace with him:\par\tab He hath profaned his covenant.


The enemy shall not exact from him,\par\tab Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.


He that soweth iniquity shall reap calamity;\par\tab And the rod of his wrath shall fail.


Ho Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, the staff in whose hand is mine indignation!


In measure, when thou sendest them away, thou dost contend with them; he hath removed {\i them} with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.


There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.\par
