I have not gone back from the commandment of his lips;\par\tab I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.


More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold;\par\tab Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.


Moreover by them is thy servant warned:\par\tab In keeping them there is great reward.


My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness;\par\tab And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips;


For wisdom shall enter into thy heart,\par\tab And knowledge shall be pleasant unto thy soul;


Her ways are ways of pleasantness,\par\tab And all her paths are peace.


For wisdom is better than rubies;\par\tab And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.\par
