Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise;\par\tab But the companion of fools shall smart for it.


A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and {\i findeth it} not;\par\tab But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding.


Cease, my son, to hear instruction\par\tab {\i Only} to err from the words of knowledge.


Speak not in the hearing of a fool;\par\tab For he will despise the wisdom of thy words.


Leave off, ye simple ones, and live;\par\tab And walk in the way of understanding.\par
