then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.


Out of the spoil won in battles did they dedicate to repair the house of Jehovah.


In those days saw I in Judah some men treading winepresses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses {\i therewith}; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified {\i against them} in the day wherein they sold victuals.


Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.\par


Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.


And I likewise, my brethren and my servants, do lend them money and grain. I pray you, let us leave off this usury.


and madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses thy servant,


but the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie fallow; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beast of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.


Honor Jehovah with thy substance,\par\tab And with the first-fruits of all thine increase:


For if the readiness is there, {\i it is} acceptable according as {\i a man} hath, not according as {\i he} hath not.
