Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.\par


And Judas, who betrayed him, answered and said, Is it I, Rabbi? He saith unto him, {\cf6 Thou hast said.}\par


And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.


Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,


But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, that should betray him, saith,


And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's {\i son}, to betray him,


Jesus therefore answereth, {\cf6 He it is, for whom I shall dip the sop, and give it him.} So when he had dipped the sop, he taketh and giveth it to Judas, {\i the son} of Simon Iscariot.


He then having received the sop went out straightway: and it was night.\par


Now Judas also, who betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus oft-times resorted thither with his disciples.


Brethren, it was needful that the scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spake before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to them that took Jesus.


(Now this man obtained a field with the reward of his iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
