And now, O Lord Jehovah, thou art God, and thy words are truth, and thou hast promised this good thing unto thy servant:
Through thy precepts I get understanding:\par\tab Therefore I hate every false way.\par
Thy word have I laid up in my heart,\par\tab That I might not sin against thee.
Thy testimonies are righteous for ever:\par\tab Give me understanding, and I shall live.\par
The sum of thy word is truth;\par\tab And every one of thy righteous ordinances {\i endureth} for ever.\par
{\b BETH.}\par\par\tab Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way?\par\tab By taking heed {\i thereto} according to thy word.
The words of Jehovah are pure words;\par\tab As silver tried in a furnace on the earth,\par\tab Purified seven times.
And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.\par
Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I heard from God: this did not Abraham.

that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you as firstfruits unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
