For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art Gilead unto me, {\i and} the head of Lebanon; {\i yet} surely I will make thee a wilderness, {\i and} cities which are not inhabited.
A voice is heard upon the bare heights, the weeping {\i and} the supplications of the children of Israel; because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten Jehovah their God.
O ye inhabitants of Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock; and be like the dove that maketh her nest over the mouth of the abyss.
