{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.}\par\par\tab Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples;\par\tab Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.


{\b A Psalm.}\par\par\tab Oh sing unto Jehovah a new song;\par\tab For he hath done marvellous things:\par\tab His right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him.


When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth;\par\tab And when the wicked perish, there is shouting.


A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous man dealeth treacherously, and the destroyer destroyeth. Go up, O Elam; besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.


Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for Jehovah hath comforted his people, and will have compassion upon his afflicted.\par


Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come unto her from the north, saith Jehovah.


Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.


And they answered the angel of Jehovah that stood among the myrtle-trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.\par
