Therefore Jehovah was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.


until Jehovah removed Israel out of his sight, as he spake by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.


If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword;\par\tab And his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.


And I have winnowed them with a fan in the gates of the land; I have bereaved {\i them} of children, I have destroyed my people; they returned not from their ways.


Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from thee; lest I make thee a desolation, a land not inhabited.\par

Now the Spirit of Jehovah departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Jehovah troubled him.
