Great peace have they that love thy law;\par\tab And they have no occasion of stumbling.


And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.\par


yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth.


Woe unto the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must needs be that the occasions come; but woe to the man through whom the occasion cometh!


Jesus answered, {\cf6 Are there not twelve hours in the day? If a man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.


Jesus therefore said unto them, {\cf6 Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.


Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, {\cf6 If ye abide in my word, {\i then} are ye truly my disciples;


Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge ye this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock in his brother's way, or an occasion of falling.


so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ;


Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:


But he that hateth his brother is in the darkness, and walketh in the darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.\par


We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not abideth in death.
