The foolishness of man subverteth his way; And his heart fretteth against the LORD.


LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.


Say unto them, As I live, saith the LORD, surely as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:


But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, remained alive of those men that went to spy out the land.


but the sons of the kingdom shall be cast forth into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.


For ye know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected (for he found no place of repentance), though he sought it diligently with tears.


Therefore the children of Israel cannot stand before their enemies, they turn their backs before their enemies, because they are become accursed: I will not be with you any more, except ye destroy the devoted thing from among you.
