He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.


The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.


The way of the sluggard is as an hedge of thorns: But the path of the upright is made an highway.


Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.


In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: O Zion, let not thine hands be slack.


And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing; and he saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?


Work not for the meat which perisheth, but for the meat which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed.


Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt cause this people to inherit the land which I sware unto their fathers to give them.


Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.


And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet divided their inheritance.


Appoint for you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; and they shall come unto me.


And they said, Arise, and let us go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slofthful to go and to enter in to possess the land.
