So they fled away in the twilight and abandoned their tents, their horses, and their donkeys, leaving the camp just as it was, and fled for their lives.


Therefore my loins are filled with anguish; pangs have seized me like the pangs of a woman in labor; I am bowed down so that I cannot hear; I am dismayed so that I cannot see.


Then the king’s face turned pale, and his thoughts terrified him. His limbs gave way, and his knees knocked together.


The pangs of childbirth come for him, but he is an unwise son, for at the proper time he does not present himself at the mouth of the womb.
