Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; otherwise, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are ruined, but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.”


Similarly, no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins and will spill out, and the skins will be ruined.


And no one after drinking old wine desires new wine but says, ‘The old is good.’ ”


So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; look, new things have come into being!


But because of false brothers and sisters secretly brought in, who slipped in to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might enslave us—


for, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.


And the one who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
