But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.


He had been instructed in the Way of the Lord, and he spoke with burning enthusiasm and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.


and know his will and determine what really matters because you are instructed in the law,


nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind, in order to instruct others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.


Those who are taught the word must share in all good things with their teacher.
