We do not see our emblems; there is no longer any prophet, and there is no one among us who knows how long.


And six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his weapon for slaughter in his hand; among them was a man clothed in linen with a writing case at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.


Then I, Daniel, looked, and two others appeared, one standing on this bank of the stream and one on the other.


I heard but could not understand, so I said, “My lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”


Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, “For how long is this vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled?”


and I heard a human voice by the Ulai, calling, “Gabriel, help this man understand the vision.”


When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”


“Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign that all these things are about to be accomplished?”


so that through the church the wisdom of God in its rich variety might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.


It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things that have now been announced to you through those who brought you good news by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look!


and out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, robed in pure bright linen, with golden sashes across their chests.


And the armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.


they cried out with a loud voice, “Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long will it be before you judge and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?”
