In the seventeenth year of Pekah son of Remaliah, King Ahaz son of Jotham of Judah began to reign.


Ahaz slept with his ancestors and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David; his son Hezekiah succeeded him.


In the third year of King Hoshea son of Elah of Israel, Hezekiah son of King Ahaz of Judah began to reign.

Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old; he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah daughter of Zechariah.


Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
