In the context of this Bible verse, Jesus explains how difficult it would be for all those who put their trust in the riches of this world to enter the kingdom of God Mark 10:17-26; but at the same time He clarifies that the only way in which man can get salvation is not through his own means but through God’s, because for Him all things are possible.

«And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.» Mark 10:27

According to the Bible commentary from the pulpit on this verse «It is as though our Lord said, "It is impossible for a rich man, embarrassed and entangled with his wealth, by his own natural strength to obtain salvation; because this is a supernatural blessing, which we cannot obtain without the like supernatural aids of grace. But with God all things are possible, because God is the Author and Source, as of nature, so of grace and glory. And he enables us, by his grace, to triumph over all the difficulties and hindrances of nature"»

When you stop trusting in your human "resources" and put your full trust in God, there is nothing that can stop you on the path of faith, because his love, grace, mercy, and care will help you reach to new levels that will allow you to follow him with a heart willing to please him in everything you do with the hope of receiving each and every one of the blessings of the kingdom of God.

Today’s prayer

▶️  ⏹️

Lord, I thank you for the gift of salvation that you have given me, thank you because through it I can experience the blessings of the kingdom of God with the hope that one day I will see your face. Help me trust you, help me to be faithful to you, help me to fix my eyes on you only because having this attitude will help me fulfill the purpose for which you created me because, in you, all things are possible. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
