¹ And Yisra’ĕ

² And Elohim spoke to Yisra’ĕ

³ And He said, “I am the Ě

⁴ “I Myself am going down with you to Mitsrayim and I Myself shall certainly bring you up again. And let Yosĕ

⁵ And Yaʽ

⁶ And they took their livestock and their property which they had acquired in the land of Kenaʽ

⁷ His sons and his sons’ sons, his daughters and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed he brought with him to Mitsrayim.

⁸ And these were the names of the children of Yisra’ĕ

⁹ And the sons of Re’uḇ

¹⁰ And the sons of Shimʽ

¹¹ And the sons of Lĕ

¹² And the sons of Yehuḏ

¹³ And the sons of Yissasḵ

¹⁴ And the sons of Zeḇ

¹⁵ These were the sons of Lĕ

¹⁶ And the sons of Gaḏ

¹⁷ And the sons of Ashĕ

¹⁸ These were the sons of Zilpah, whom Laḇ

¹⁹ The sons of Raḥ

²⁰ And to Yosĕ

²¹ And the sons of Binyamin: Belah, and Beḵ

²² These were the sons of Raḥ

²³ And the son of Dan: Ḥ

²⁴ And the sons of Naphtali: Yaḥ

²⁵ These were the sons of Bilhah, whom Laḇ

²⁶ All the beings who went with Yaʽ

²⁷ And the sons of Yosĕ

²⁸ And he sent Yehuḏ

²⁹ And Yosĕ

³⁰ And Yisra’ĕ

³¹ And Yosĕ

³² ‘And the men are shepherds, that they have been men of livestock, and they have brought their flocks and their herds, and all that they have.’

³³ “And it shall be, when Pharaoh calls you and says, ‘What is your occupation?’

³⁴ that you shall say, ‘Your servants have been men of livestock from our youth even till now, both we and also our fathers,’ so that you dwell in the land of Goshen, for every shepherd is an abomination to the Mitsrites.”
