¹ And Aḇ

² And she bore him Zimran, and Yoqshan, and Meḏ

³ And Yoqshan brought forth Sheḇ

⁴ And the sons of Miḏ

⁵ Now Aḇ

⁶ but to the sons of the concubines whom Aḇ

⁷ And these are all the years of Aḇ

⁸ And Aḇ

⁹ And his sons Yitsḥ

¹⁰ the field which Aḇ

¹¹ And it came to be, after the death of Aḇ

¹² And this is the genealogy of Yishmaʽ

¹³ And these were the names of the sons of Yishmaʽ

¹⁴ and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,

¹⁵ Haḏ

¹⁶ These were the sons of Yishmaʽ

¹⁷ And these were the years of the life of Yishmaʽ

¹⁸ And they dwelt from Ḥ

¹⁹ And this is the genealogy of Yitsḥ

²⁰ And Yitsḥ

²¹ And Yitsḥ

²² And within her the children struggled together, and she said, “If all is right, why am I this way?” So she went to ask יהוה.

²³ And יהוה  said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples shall be separated from your body. And one people shall be stronger than the other, and the older serve the younger.”

²⁴ And when the days were filled for her to give birth, and see, twins were in her womb!

²⁵ And the first came out red all over, like a hairy garment, so they called his name Ě

²⁶ And afterward his brother came out, with his hand holding on to Ě

²⁷ And the boys grew up. And Ě

²⁸ And Yitsḥ

²⁹ And Yaʽ

³⁰ And Ě

³¹ But Yaʽ

³² And Ě

³³ Then Yaʽ

³⁴ Yaʽ
